Leslie Wilcox graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 2000. She was a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County and a State Prosecutor in Arkansas. She prosecuted many misdemeanor DUI and domestic violence cases, as well as felony cases. Ms. Wilcox practiced criminal defense before joining a firm that specialized in representing deputy sheriffs and other public safety agencies. Ms. Wilcox continues to handle administrative and discipline matters for members of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS).
Ms. Wilcox founded Wilcox & Associates, P.C. in 2015 to bring her own unique qualifications and successes to public safety agencies within the Southern California region. Ms. Wilcox and her firm are panel attorneys for the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) and also serve as panel attorneys for the public safety agencies associated with PORAC’s Legal Defense Fund.
Wilcox & Associates, P.C. has extensive experience in labor law as it relates to public safety employees. The firm has handled innumerable internal affairs investigations, officer involved shootings, Skelly hearings, and Civil Service Appeals and Arbitrations. Many years of prosecutorial and defense trial experience provide law enforcement officers and firefighters with additional expertise on the unique aspects of their administrative or disciplinary matters involving on-duty or off-duty conduct.
